Artistic Ability: Arts Access Program Exhibition

Grounds For Sculpture is proud to present this community exhibition of artwork created at the Arts Access Program at The Matheny Medical and Educational Center in Peapack, New Jersey. This exhibit demonstrates Grounds For Sculpture’s commitment to showcasing art created by members of the local and regional community.

The Matheny Medical and Educational Center is a specialized facility for individuals with medically complex developmental disabilities. It is a teaching hospital, a special education school, and a comprehensive medical center designed to meet the needs of persons with all types of disabilities.

The Arts Access Program, founded at Matheny in 1993, offers opportunities for unlimited self-expression in the arts. With the assistance of a professional facilitator at the Arts Access Program, the world of the artist with disabilities becomes unlimited and rich with creative possibilities.
The variety of works on view demonstrates the creativity, talent and abilities of the artists in the program.
